you’re the alien here, but I won’t argue the point.
I found my Earthean agent, I was told to get my platform ready. “You
need a platform, Aktor,” she said. “What’s
a platform?” I asked. “You
need to put yourself out there,” she said. “Before you’re published.” “Out
The. Blogosphere.” “The what?” “It’s sort
of like a virt platform,” my agent told me. “So people know who you are.” “Half
the known galaxies know who I am. I’m the big AK. You know. The virtscripter of Doomworlds, and Instaglius Burns. And now, The Pirateers.” To be
honest, Earthea is pretty primitive compared to Stoliz, my home world. Stoliz
is a firstworld, in the Atakin galaxy. Your
world isn’t even in the three known galaxies. It wouldn’t even qualify as a
fifthworld in the Atakin galaxy. “The
Pirateers will be published soon,” said my agent. “Your audience here needs
to be introduced to you.” “I can
upload my virts,” I said. “I’ve got the whole set I did for InterGal Net.” “We
don’t do holo,” she said. “What?
No holo? No 4D sync?” “No.” “No virt
interviews from a galaxy light years from you?” “Especially
no virt interviews. We don’t do
holovirt. Not yet, anyway.” “So why
don’t you do an Earthean interview on your earth TV?” “People
have funny ideas about aliens. I don't want to scare them off.” “But
you’re the aliens here.” “No
Aktor. You’re the alien.”
I am. Aktor Kadz. Alien, and proud of it. Blogging about my series of books
called The Pirateers, coming soon to a holoscroll store near you. And life in the
three known galaxies. And anything else you’d like to talk or hear about.
Aktor Kadz’s new series, The Pirateers, will soon be coming to virtscreens in the three
known galaxies. A runaway bestseller, it’s currently available in holoscroll format in
thousands of inter-galactic languages. The first part in the series will
shortly be released in book form on Earthea.
“I had so much fun; I didn’t want it to end.”
Sixteen year old Yarri Camusen plays Kap, the teenage
hero of The Pirateers. This is his
first virtseries, and he is tremendously excited. “I can’t believe they chose me to play Kap,” he
said. “ It’s been a dream come true to be playing opposite stars like Zak
Ramer, (Zak plays Kap’s father, Cap’n Vanderbroost, in the series), Kalli Ocre,
Cal Mandep, and the rest. It’s been magical. Everyone has been amazing.” The
Pirateers is a four part series.
